The poor management of conflict situations leads to the loss of one of the biggest positive outcomes it can have: a strengthened relationship between the people involved in the conflict, a win-win situation. Conflict often has a devastating effect and it can spread very quickly if it isn't solved. Negativity, low employee morale, a drop in productivity are just few of the results you can get.

  • Levels of conflict: individual, group or organizational

  • Communication: verbal and non verbal

  • Self awareness: how people react in a tense situation, explore the feelings in the process, how to be in control of yourself

  • Turning points in conflict incidents


  • Conflict resolution methods: negotiation, mediation, arbitration etc and comparison between the different styles

  • Conflict-management approaches with group level conditions

  • What to do post incident: debriefing the situation, support, recording

  • Case studies

  • Managing difficult characters



The training course will consist of a mixture of presentations, group discussions, role plays and videotaped exercises in order for the participants to better understand the information and start applying the learned principles. 70% of the training schedule will consist of practical activities.
