They are building and operating SaaS and on-prem solutions to offer customers the ability to test, manage, govern, and secure their applications running in private clouds as well as public clouds, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
As a Software engineer in a geographically distributed DevOps team, you will be responsible for ensuring that these SaaS and on-prem Solutions are built and run in production. You will work in a DevOps environment with a very talented team of peers on distributed systems that leverage open-source innovations.

Design, develop and maintain next gen DevOps processes and tools comprising several stages including plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate and monitor company’s SaaS and on-prem solutions
Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance and operability in mind
Work alongside Service teams, Engineers and Customers to drive issues to resolution
Build/extend server automation and non-disruptive environment deployments
Quick debugging and root cause analysis
Anforderung
Preferred skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2+ years of relevant experience
Programming experience with Java or, Python or Perl
Familiar with Atlassian Tool Suite: JIRA (epic, story, bug, task tracking), Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo and Fisheye is a plus
Developing shell scripts for Linux using bash or ksh
Understanding of cloud-scale and micro/macro-services architectures
Exposure in developing and maintaining a Continuous Improvement (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) process
Data Pipeline knowledge, especially with tools like Kafka
Hands-on experience in build and administer VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, GKE, DockerUI, Kitematic, LXC, OpenVz or vSphere Integrated Containers
Infrastructure Provisioning (Terraform)
Identifying weaknesses in the infrastructure and implement changes
Strong Communication Skills with Sales, Service and Engineering
