This position is a Principal Design Engineer for 16-bit Microcontrollers
Implement, synthesize and validate for functionality & timing of device variants for the 16-bit MCU product family.
Implement/synthesize 16-bit microcontrollers with standard cell libraries, optimizing for speed & power and implementing/inserting DFT logic using UPF for power domain crossing regulation.
Analyze physical implementation for performance criteria and Design for Manufacturability issues.
Perform logical equivalency check verification to ensure functionality.
Interface with, and support, technology development, CAD, APR, layout and other design organizations.
BSEE and 7-10 years previous physical synthesis design experience required.
Must have Verilog, physical synthesis, standard cell based implementation, mixed-signal implementation, UPF, DFT, deep submicron geometry, logical equivalency check verification and static timing analysis experiences.
