The role of the Business Intelligence Advisor is a prominent role within the SRC (Security Risk and
Consulting) business. The Business Intelligence Advisor is involved in providing business intelligence and
analytical support across SRC, and also enables measurement of global KPI’s that are the input into
various tactical and strategic decisions by the SRC leadership.
This role requires strong analytical skills, strong communication skills along with the ability to work cross
functionally with different teams. The ideal candidate should not only have the desire to dig into details
but be comfortable in presenting their findings to the broader team. She should be data savvy and have
an eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Owning and maintaining the global reports and dashboards within Power BI (Tableau);
Offer support in automating the existing reports by involving with the BI team and all the data stakeholders;
Providing SRC management support on ad-hoc reporting requests;
Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure global KPI’s actuals versus business objectives;
Analyze reports and performance data to provide trend analysis while explaining and handling variances and anomalies within the data;
Requirements
Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities at once
Prior experience with a large company, preferably within IT
Experienced in advanced analytics
Experienced in Power BI (and Tableau)
Excellent analytical and investigative abilities are required
Comfortable with change and shuffling priorities
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PPT
Strong written, verbal and oral communication skills
High English Proficiency
Ability to collaborate across functions/teams and build relationships across the business
Interpersonal skills with great sense of responsibility, strong team player
Results driven, attention to detail
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work effectively in an unstructured environment
