• Creation and maintenance of Engineering Standards, Blueprints and best practices for the Continuous Software Delivery domain.
• Creation and maintenance of Integration Standards and practices for the Continuous Software Delivery domain. Ensuring that the selected solutions and frameworks deliver best-in-class capabilities.
• Definition / review of the design patterns, best practices, engineering & security principles & guidance for the Engineering functions across the domain
• Technical documentation creation as well as peer review of the existing technical designs.
• Act as an advisor for Engineering, PO, Security, Testing teams for the Engineering Testing Solutions Architecture
• Support the production of technology and tool assessments and utilize Cloud solution to rapidly implement and deduce outcomes from PoC’s and Pilots which can then be used as input to create enterprise wide architecture designs.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of software engineering products and the latest in virtualization, cloud and container technologies.
• Work with Vendor teams to convey Vodafone’s needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps. Share real world implementation challenges and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from _VOIS Solutions.
• Collaborates with various Architecture & Engineering teams across our all Architecture Domains in _VOIS.

• Define, analyze and review software engineering design documents, principles, patterns, blueprints in line with Vodafone Architecture and Security Global Policies
• Act as an advisor for the engineering teams during build and installation activities and use troubleshooting skills towards resolution of the technical issues
• Analyze business requirements for Design build, review testing reports, including Security reports and input in all security documentation in line with Vodafone Global Security Policies
• Develop good working relation with teams located across multiple locations
• Excellent working experience with software engineering best practices & principles
• Good knowledge of software engineering products and the latest in virtualization, cloud and container technologies
• 3+ years of experience in designing complex and global scale IT systems
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, authentication schemes and distributed architectures.
• Extensive experience in design & operations of scaled and distributed CICD & Testing platforms.
• Good knowledge of Platforms like Windows / UNIX
• Experience with popular DBs i.e Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Working experience with Oracle and Microsoft middleware applications such as IIS, WebLogic, Tomcat.
• Proven experience in transition of designs from architecture into delivery
• Knowledge of security best practices, principles and guidelines
• Experience in producing technical documentation
• Fluent in English and ability to work in a team locally and virtually
