• Support and provide motivation for at least one privacy analyst. Provide guidance and encourage creativity whilst act proactively to oversee smooth day to day operations with global processes and effective collaboration across locations.
• Privacy demand management, triage and categorisation of requests in a timely manner, track and allocate workload across the team with full visibility on priorities ensuring business demand is met and processes are adhered to at the highest of standards;
• Supporting our Privacy by Design and Assurance activities across a range of data processing activities, including conducting privacy impact assessments of wide ranging scope and purpose;
• Supporting HR in responding to Subject Access Requests and other such requests for Luxembourg based employees;
• Incident Management, in particular support with the investigation of privacy incidents and related activities;
• Supporting Supplier Compliance processes, in particular ensuring privacy considerations are incorporated to supplier management processes and related compliance monitoring;
• Conducting re-assessments of high and medium risk personal data processing activities according to annual assurance plan to ensure continuous compliance with privacy baseline requirements;
• Records management and Quality Assurance, including maintain a centralised record of
processes, platforms and inventories and drive quality assurance to ensure high data
quality;
• Supporting regular Policy Compliance Reviews that verify compliance with Privacy Risk Control framework and other similar second line assurance activities;
• Supporting negotiation of external and internal data protection terms including partner agreements, standard supplier agreements, complex technology agreements and internal and external framework agreements.
• Liaising with local market privacy contacts on global assessments to ensure any local requirements are accommodated for;
• Advising on global roaming and procurement related privacy issues including supplier compliance, consumer IOT, Big data and AI, , Blockchain, and roaming connectivity and value added services;
• Fostering privacy culture through regular engagements with procurement and roaming specialists, providing training and awareness;
• Developing and embedding privacy notices, templates, advice, guidance and processes with the objective of improving internal privacy processes and making the negotiation of data protection terms more efficient and effective. This includes leveraging internalpolicy and procedure to ensure that all available tools are used.
• Support the Group Privacy team with any other privacy activities as may be required from time to time.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and data protection clauses.
• Good understanding of global privacy landscape in technology and/or telecoms businesses;
• Knowledge of compliance management standards, tools, methodologies and best practices;
• Excellent organisation skills, able to handle multiple requests with differing priorities and stakeholders;
• Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with tolerance for ambiguity. Persistence to drive change over time;
• Courage to ‘stand up and be counted’ even when view is unpopular at a more senior level;
• Results oriented, proactive, responsible, pragmatic and ethical person with a passion for privacy and interest in technologies and their societal impact;
• Ability to analyse complex information and identify key and relevant points, including communicating in a relevant and easy to understand manner.
• Experience of OneTrust and Jira would be highly advantageous
• 3+ years’ experience in privacy and or legal.
• Excellent command of English, and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication.
