The Service Architect within Presales Customer Solutions is responsible for the successful delivery coordination of one or more projects within the PCS Service solutions portfolio. Projects can include: Bespoke Product Development process, Service Improvements/Services model. Responsibilities include: management of project definition and planning; cross functional delivery; spend management and reporting, issue track and resolution.

Responsibilities

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

Manages & co-ordinates multiple designs across a product portfolio/programme
Performs end to end design while provides architectural design leadership & standards
Mediates complex projects and systemic design issues
Architectural responsibility for modular design blueprints

Requirements

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Strong background in managing design and development projects cycle in the Telecoms industry in large Enterprise business; IT and Customer Operations experience would be an advantage.
Proven knowledge of customer lifecycle design and project management skills with track record of successful delivery.
Ability to identify areas of inefficiencies in current working models and define & articulate improvements
Project coordination experience and proven ability to operate within a geographically dispersed matrix organization

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

University degree, with preference on technology (engineering, telecommunications, computer science).
Prince 2 and ITIL or equivalent certification
5+ years of experience on managing major customer services or operational services organisation within Telecoms
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications industry with strong focus on business services and applications delivery
Multi-national team leadership experience and proven ability to operate within a matrix organisation.
Experience in consulting and/or services selling, account and customer relationship development, customer intelligence and competitive analysis.

Dotted reports:
Dotted responsibility for managing project deliverables by other project stakeholders (e.g. Service Designers).

Typical outputs:
Service Design Quality Assessments
Continuous Service Improvement to achieve exceptional product performance
Service Design documentation
