Responsibilities:
Design and execute System Test level scenarios for the new features added into the product
Participate in enhancing the automation framework and develop new functionalities for it
Get familiar with and integrate new 3rd party devices and technologies into the product’s System Test suites
Execute on the defined QA strategy using both manual and automated testing methods
Define automation strategy for complex scenarios, automate and integrate owned features into regression harnesses
Provide input for customer specific escalations
Use a variety of tools and debug techniques and apply good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Perform root cause isolation, describe steps to reproduce and problem summary, provide proper logs and files
Provide user experience feedback and enhance overall product usability and ease of use
Experience scripting languages such as Python/REST
General knowledge on CI/CD processes and tools (eg Jenkins, Gitlab etc)
Ability to understand automation frameworks and suggest/implement enhancements and optimizations
Experience with networking TCP/IP protocols
Experience with Linux family of operating systems and virtualization technologies
Knowledgeable about tools and debug techniques (packet capture, packet analyzer, automation frameworks)
Very good communication skills, team player open for collaboration within the project team
Bonus skills
Experience with automation frameworks is a plus
Knowledge of cloud usage and deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP), including 3rd party tools (Terraform)
Working experience in Agile, Scrum teams is a plus
Security and application protocols are a plus: SSL, IPsec, etc
