In your new role you will:
• Define and own test strategies/test plan and drive long-term improvements in testing areas.
• Requirement analysis from unit to system and help the definition of the test infrastructure
• Must explain in front of auditors the test process and procedures followed by the team.
To ensure your success in this role, the following experience is needed:
• 10+ years’ experience in testing embedded systems, at least 1-2 years’ experience as test architect.
• Programming experience (ANSI C);
• Experience with MCU peripherals and external devices like power management devices, transceivers, external flash, etc.; and how to test SW that enables these devices.
• Debugging skills for embedded targets and low-level software.
• GIT or other version control systems.
• English language (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical skills to understand, model, and analyze electronic circuits and systems to propose breakthrough semiconductor solutions
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken in English
• Experience with use-case analysis and decomposition in test.
• Proven experience in microcontroller architecture, Software, or system-level integration
• Strong collaboration skills to work across multidisciplinary teams, including silicon, software, firmware, and board design engineers.
Experience with any of the following is considered a plus:
• Prior experience working at Automotive Tier 1 supplier in defining, implementing test methodologies on all ASPICE levels of testing.
• Experience in microcontroller architect and serial communication protocols, such as I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, UART and Ethernet
• Familiarity with requirements tracking tools such as IBM DOORS
• Team and people skills for an international and intercultural environment, self- driven attitude to get engaged and contribute.
• Basic knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay);
• Electronics and working with data acquisition equipment, logic analyzer, oscilloscope.
