Your responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the cloud backend (AWS serverless — Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway) that powers CI telemetry, dashboards, and board/resource management
• Develop and maintain the web dashboard (React / TypeScript) used to monitor CI, builds, and the hardware lab
• Design and extend REST APIs and data models; improve the observability of the system
• Contribute to CI/CD automation and Jenkins pipelines that build and test the Linux BSP
• Help keep the CI/CD and cloud infrastructure available; proactively spot and fix early warnings
• Coordinate with software development, test and IT infrastructure teams to meet platform and CI/CD KPIs
To ensure your success in this role, the following experience is needed:
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with focus on web and cloud application development
• Solid experience with a modern web front-end framework (React) and TypeScript
• Solid experience building cloud applications on AWS (serverless — e.g. Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway)
• Working grasp of web/cloud networking fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, TLS, authentication, SSH)
• Good Python for backend services and automation
• Comfortable working in a Linux command-line environment (shell scripting and common CLI tooling)
• Experience with, or solid exposure to, CI/CD — ideally Jenkins pipeline as-code
• Source control with Git and change-control tools
• Good command of English, spoken & written
The following is a plus:
• Infrastructure-as-Code / cloud deployment tooling (Serverless Framework, CloudFormation / Terraform)
• Authentication / identity integration (OAuth2 / SAML / Azure AD / MSAL)
• Observability and BI / dashboarding (metrics, alerting, QuickSight or similar)
• Comfortable using Agentic AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate development
• Automotive development processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262)
• Experience with Embedded Linux environments and build systems (e.g. Yocto, Buildroot), or interacting with low-level software
Both technical competency and attitude matter in our team: you’re expected to collaborate with local and global colleagues, show independence in solving problems, be motivated by delivering results, and stay open to the challenges of achieving the expected outcomes. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering / CS field is targeted but not mandatory; equivalent practical experience is accepted.
Our team: You’ll join our Bucharest team that builds and operates the CI/CD and internal developer platform for our Automotive Linux BSP, collaborating with local and global colleagues in the CI/DevOps as well as Operating Systems domains.
