The Purchasing Compliance coordinator will manage the planning, allocation, and compliance of two key funding streams in Romania: Corporate Sponsorships – Up to 20% of the corporate income tax can be redirected to sponsorships supporting NGOs, strategic partnerships, and social causes. Disability Fund Contributions – Instead of paying the mandated disability tax to the government, the company can allocate these funds to protected units that employ individuals with disabilities, ensuring both compliance and social impact.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Plan & Strategically Allocate Funds – Develop an annual plan to ensure sponsorships and disability fund allocations align with company objectives.
  • Manage Procurement & Contracts – Oversee the selection and approval process for NGOs and initiatives to be funded, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Draft & Review Contracts and Annexes – Prepare, review, and validate contract drafts and related annexes to ensure legal accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal policies.
  • Ensure Compliance & Audit Readiness – Maintain structured documentation for audit purposes, ensuring compliance with tax laws and procurement policies.
  • Coordinate Stakeholders – Work with legal, finance, procurement, employee networks and leadership teams to align funding strategies with company priorities.
  • Optimize Fund Utilization – Identify opportunities to maximize impact while staying within regulatory guidelines.

  • Stakeholder Coordination (Legal, Finance, Procurement, Leadership), Cross-Functional Communication
  • NGO & Partner Relationship Management
  • Financial Planning & Fund Allocation
  • Attention to Detail, Organizational Skills

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (optional):
    • Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum)
    • Procurement or Contract Management
    • CSR / Sustainability / Social Impact coursework (bonus)
