The Amazon Advertising Specialist is responsible for optimizing global Amazon advertising campaigns, aiming to achieve defined Advertising Cost of Sales (ACoS) and Total Advertising Cost of Sales (TACoS) targets. This role involves strategic planning, execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of advertising performance on Amazon. Advertising budgets are in the millions of dollars so this position has a lot of responsibility and the company is open to a variable compensation based on performance.

Campaign Management and Optimization:
Plan, create, and manage Amazon PPC campaigns globally, targeting specific ACoS and TACoS objectives.
Continuously optimize campaign bids, keywords, and targeting to maximize ROI and meet defined performance goals.
Regularly review and challenge targeting approaches to ensure ongoing effectiveness and competitive advantage.
Initial Campaign Setup:
Contribute significantly to the success of new product launches through strategic and thoughtful initial advertising campaign setups.
Ensure robust campaign structures that support scalability and adaptability.
Continuously accommodate the growth and expansion of the product portfolio, making campaign setup and structuring a critical ongoing responsibility.
Analytics and Reporting:
Analyze advertising performance data, including spend, sales, and profitability metrics.
Generate actionable insights from analytics to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
Provide regular, detailed reports on campaign performance and progress towards business objectives.
Strategic Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive advertising strategies aligned with business goals.
Stay current with trends, updates, and best practices in Amazon advertising to proactively adapt strategies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with demand planning specialists and platform managers, to ensure cohesive advertising messaging and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
Coordinate with the creative team for specialized advertising projects and communicate content demand from an advertising perspective.
Anforderung
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing Amazon Advertising or related PPC campaigns like Google Ads for e-commerce offerings.
Skills and Competencies:
Deep understanding of Amazon PPC, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools and Excel / Google Sheets.
Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets effectively and optimize campaigns to meet business objectives.
