As a contractor Software Project Manager supporting Automotive Software team, you are responsible for end-to-end coordination, execution, and predictability at project level for the Real Time Firmware group.
Your responsibilities:
• Drive the Project Life Cycle from Project Initiation to Production Release;
• Define scope, planning & budget for the entire project while always looking at the quality;
• Create and maintain the project business case;
• Drive and follow the project risk assessment to find the right risk responses;
• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of technical specialists to satisfy customer needs and business case;
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with relevant stakeholders on progress, issues, and escalation.
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, with more than 5 years of automotive industry experience;
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall;
• Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle from requirements to maintenance;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in leading diverse multi-cultural teams towards common goals.
• Experience with software project management (3+ years);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Excellent English communication skills (speaking & writing)
Experience with any of the following is considered a plus:
• Experience managing projects or programs using SAFe methodologies.
• Automotive specific development processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262)
• Embedded programming experience
• Technical background in embedded systems.
• Technical background in working with/integrating multiple software deliveries/dependencies;
