We are seeking a highly skilled JIRA Business Analyst & Product Owner to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, defining product requirements, and managing the product backlog for our JIRA instances. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, product ownership, project management and JIRA administration.
In your new role you will:
Work closely with business owners and key stakeholders to gather, analyze, consolidate and prioritize diverse requirements and translate these into Jira use case/workflow implementations
Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date, refined, and aligned with business objectives and priorities
Collaborate with development teams to ensure product requirements are understood and implemented correctly
Drive delivery and IT operations in close cooperation with our development team
Requirements
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5-7 years of experience as business analyst and/or product owner in the IT or related field
Solid experience with JIRA, such as JIRA Cloud or JIRA Data Center
Certifications on Business Analysis, Scrum Master is an advantage
Familiarity with otherAtlassian tools, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, or Trello
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Easy BI
Proficiency in business analysis and product ownership methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
Good knowledge in software life-cycle (DevOps incl. development, quality control, deployment, etc.)
Hands-on experience in agile project management (e.g. Scrum), requirements engineering
