Responsibilities
In case of incident, assure troubleshooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service restoration of NFVi Cloud infrastructure
Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network, e.g. Daily Walkthroughs and Health checks for NFVi components.
Assure planned work activities, upgrade NFVi components & virtualization stack, Onboarding and implementation of Service requests ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on cloud functionalities
Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the network
Requirements
Experience working in Telco or IT industry.
Advanced knowledge of IT & networking technologies (Cloud, Virtualization, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
Troubleshooting skills in Linux, virtual machines, container, networking.
Hands-on Experience with VMware based virtualization technologies and platforms.
Scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible) desirable
Team working oriented.
Good communication skills.
English (spoken and written) and German (reading, listening).
