2nd Line Operations of FMAO Fibre & Carrier Operations
Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality, continuity of service and the restoring time for Fibre cuts.
In collaboration with 1st Line Operations teams, work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms in order to detect and eliminate faults. Perform data dashboards, automatization and support integration of Fibre Monitoring-System and improve process and problem flows.

In case of incident, assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including field service and carrier support escalation, to achieve service and performance restoration.
Confident and leading skills to coordinate escalated incidents.
Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network, e.g. Daily Walkthroughs and Health checks for Fibre and Carrier Issues.
Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the network. Introduce and manage cutting edge technologies including vendor and on the job training
Steering planned work activities and try to improve outages by planned work in case of documentation problems.
With these skills you are a great candidate:
Multi-year experience working in Telco or IT industry
Good knowledge about architectures and transmission systems, focused on optical fibre area
Good knowledge about OSI-Protocol, WDM/SDH and IP
Team working oriented
Good communication skills
English (spoken and written)
German (spoken and written)
University degree: faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology
Scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible) desirableb
