We are looking for a motivated (Senior) Java Developer with a strong background in agile software engineering and containerization technologies. Development focuses on Java Web Services development in the context of the company’s chip development projects.
Your responsibilities
• Design, implement, and test web services for secure key management and data distribution
• Contribute to architecture and security concepts to ensure end-to- end protection of sensitive key material and data
To ensure your success in this role, the following experience is needed:
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field
• 3-5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Java
• Hands-on experience with Java Spring and Spring Boot
• Passion for building reliable, high-security, high-throughput services
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker and K8s)
• Background in security and cryptography is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus
• Experience in (embedded) C development is a plus
• Experience with Maven and Jenkins for build and automation processes is beneficial
• Structured and analytical approach to solving complex software challenges
• Self-driven, team-oriented, and proactive mindset
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Open-minded and collaborative personality
Work Mode: Remote | On-site (Germany, Austria) during ramp-up,
later every second month for f2f workshops (if necessary)
Start Date: ASAP
Workload: 40 hours/week
Duration: 12 months (high potential for extension)
Languages: Fluent English (German is a plus)
