Responsibilities
In your new role you will:
Understand the business case and its process, analyze the requirements/user stories to design, build and run python scripts for automation
Collaborate with other developers, architects, business analysts, UX experts and business stakeholders to design and build a system that is efficient, effective, and scalable
Guide and mentor the junior developers towards the IT standards and best practices for SDLC
Involvement at all stages of SDLC: analysis, design, development, unit and integration testing, UAT facilitation, packaging, deployment &operations
Work in cross-functional Scrum teams and follow DevOps practices & methods
Explore emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
Degree in Computer Science, informatics, or a related field (Bachelor/Master)
4+ years of hands-on experience in Python, and experience with Python libraries like: Pytest, Jinja, Tenacity, Setuptools, Python-dotenv
Experience with CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
Strong background in working with relational databases like MSSQL, Oracle
Experience with Cloud technologies, containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
Nice to have knowledge in in modern web development frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment
