Maintenance of supplier contacts in Ariba
Clarify backlogs with suppliers
Evaluations and analyses of current situations in the respective area (e.g.Ukraine war, compliance with Russian sanctions)
Processing of e-mails from internal or external parties
Forwarding of all important information (e.g. new price lists,creation of new products or product changes)
Answering questions from other departments about suppliers or products
Central Price storage in SAP
Supplier support (discussions, target agreements, product changes, product launches – with PMI, main contact person for purchasing issues)
Price negotiations with associated preparatory work: Preparation of price comparison
Tendering and invitations to tender (finding new suppliers)
Anforderung
A thorough knowledge of the procurement processes is a must and exposure tools like Ariba and ERP systems like SAP will be required.
Experience in contract drafting, the experience of collaborating with legal and knowledge of legal terms in a contract will be an added advantage.
Solid understanding of Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Professional level proficiency in English or German are desired.
Self-starter, ability to self-empower with a positive and friendly demeanor.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability and ability to learn and operate out of one’s comfort zone.
Ability to manage relationships optimally across all layers within internal customers & supplier organizations
Proactive, collaborative, and quick to adapt to changes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, who is always questioning the status quo.

A Bachelor’s / Undergraduate degree in any subject area. Any Masters will be a plus.
