Responsibilities
In your new role you will:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of senior and junior software engineers to drive individual and team excellence
Fosterbest practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, and deployment processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the team
Drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for software development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the architectural design and system integration of software solutions
Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team, promoting a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation
Maintain and continuously improve the overall software architecture for optimized availability and scalability of the solution
Requirements
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
Degree in computer science, informatics, or a related field (Bachelor/Master)
7+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on architectural design and system integration
Expertise in modern web development frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js, ASP.NET Core), programming languages and database technologies
Strong programming skills in C# (version 8 or later) and hands-on experience with Blazor development, HTML, and CSS
Strong background in working with relational databases like MSSQL
Proven leadership and mentorship experience, with a focus on guiding and developing both senior and junior software engineers
Strong understanding of cloud technologies, containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes/OpenShift)
Experience in performance engineering, scalability, stability, and optimization of applications and infrastructure
Proficiency in agile methodologies, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Fluent English language skills. Basic German language skills would be an advantage
