Role purpose:
This role is part of application deployment for Telecom BSS/OSS Applications. This role is responsible for promotion and deployments of code across various environments (Production and Non-Production)
• Creation of scripts to automate the processes (shell scripting, python, groovy, Yaml, Json)
• Investigate/identify and provide solutions for various incidents and requests related to deployments defects
• Provide support to projects and testing

Main responsibilities:
Actively participate in 24/7 deployment execution, ensuring smooth rollouts and resolving issues in real time.
Use source code versioning systems to improve production processes and enhance migration activities.
Modify and adapt existing software solutions to optimize performance and enhance customer experience.
Troubleshoot and manage incidents, problems, and service requests, implementing effective workarounds when necessary.
Participate in major and minor release cycles, contributing to efficient deployment and configuration management.
Conduct daily health checks for BSS platforms, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
Provide technical support for BSS applications, ensuring availability for on-call troubleshooting and service restoration.
Define and track SLAs and KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Identify and propose automation opportunities to optimize operations and reduce manual workload.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with company’s internal and external partners to ensure SLA compliance and continuous service improvement.
Cerințe
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Strong understanding of ITIL, DevOps principles, and Agile methodologies.
Hands-on experience in debugging and troubleshooting applications on Linux servers.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), version control systems (e.g., Git), and scripting/programming (e.g., Bash, Perl).
Knowledge of telecom architecture, IP networking protocols, and BSS/OSS processes.
Experience with deployment execution and application configuration management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.

Bachelor degree
Linux experience
OracleDB experience
Experience on deployments on Weblogic, Apache Tomcat
Experience in operating and managing applications in large-scale enterprise environments
Work with oneITSM (Global Remedy) or TTWOS
Technical knowledge on the implementation on UNIX Solaris & Red Hat Linux environments
