Responsibilities
Perform a key role in the understanding of business requirements and enabling these to be delivered by our wider Technology teams.
Act as the liaison between Business units, the IT department and in some instances the IT vendors;
Work within Transformational projects/ programmes ensuring the Business and relevant Technology requirements are mapped-out and understood
Specifically assisting in Operational support requirements, tracing business logic for underlying technical solutions/ customer flows.
Maintain an awareness of opportunities provided by new technology and drive innovative thinking and solution design
Ensure agreed business objectives are enabled through proactive and diligent management of 3rd party activities, including delivering an excellent customer experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure alignment of product roadmaps with company’s technology roadmap and business strategy.
Provide Architectural governance, expertise and direction to the development initiatives within Ireland by reviewing requirements at an early stage and assessing their Architectural significance, defining Technical Options and Architectural assessments.
Requirements
5+ years’ experience in a similar role
3rd Level qualification in IT or a related discipline
A thorough knowledge of Telecoms products and CRM Systems.
Have experience working on Amdocs BSS Platform and Amdocs Product Catalogue changes
Solid understanding of IT concepts and terminology.
Ability to operate in rapidly changing and dynamic environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong vendor management experience
Experience of Agile Methodologies an advantage, Product backlog management and Agile Delivery Planning
Ability to quickly gain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the existing applications
