Provide guidance for implementing Cyber Security strategy, cyber security baseline and act as security point of contact for Networks in managing Cyber Security Risk in line with policies and tolerance.
Build strong relationships with Network teams/responsibles and ensure that security engagement is effectively managed to deliver secure by design solutions.
Responsible for effectively capturing and monitoring the Network Cyber Security risks and managing these on the Group risk management platform
Regular and transparent security risk reporting to Cyber Strategy Leadership Team.
To cooperate with all Network teams on remediation of vulnerabilities from network systems, thorough specific procedures: development, reconfiguration, patches, implementation of additional mitigation controls.
Support the mitigation of cyber security incidents and events to minimise the impact to customers, services, data and people
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
8+ years Cyber/Information/Network security or Telecom Network experience
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex and technical security matters in simple business language and influence stakeholders.
Ability to build effective working relationships and inspire othersHands on experience in managing and responding to cyber security threats and incidents
High integrity and a desire for open and transparent risk managementStrong collaboration skills harnessed towards delivering the right outcomes for customers
Good understanding of key network and technical security controls having relevant professional certifications in good standing.
Requirements
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a relevant field e.g. IT, Software Engineering, Information Security, Telecoms.
Degree, professional qualification or relevant experience in Cyber or Information Security such as ISO27001 LA, CISSP, CISA
Technical capability and knowledge as SME for Security of Networks at level of an industry leader
