As a Design Applications - Support Engineer you will provide 1st and 2nd level support on Linux/UNIX environment, analog and digital flows, ICs tools and technology. Like this, you will be responsible for presenting new ideas to be implemented into new and existing projects, while working closely with the local design teams and flow/technology departments.
As a Functional Safety Engineer you will be part of the product development team ensuring first class functional safety features in our automotive body power applications (e.g. used in electric steering, electronic brake system and others). Together with the team you will develop high-value products and services to support and shape automotive future trends.
This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, support, management and execution of 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. ›Interfaces: primarily interacts with FO engineers and BO engineers, customer technical staff, Incident Managers, Technical Coordinators and Line Manager. › Work in an international environment, with customers and suppliers. › Work in Day or Night shift, but should in all cases be capable to do a regular Flexi shift (to cover illness, vacation, training etc).
Essentially, Success Engineers facilitate communication between support departments, and all others, speeding up the resolution time for support issues, and directly representing the voice of the customer to the inside skills center teams. The Success Engineering role makes not just the customer more successful, but also the internal stakeholders. They help make sure we are operating most efficiently as a team to support customers.
