You will be in charge to plan and manage the balance between the headcount and workload of at about 100 software engineers involved into different development projects curried out by our Center in Bucharest. This key role in our organization interacts with the international internal clients and stakeholders, BU PMO, Romania team’s leaders and engineering services partners. The position will be attached to the Romania engineering center Director.
We are searching for a Web Application Developer in the NTS (Network Test Solutions) department for our Wi-Fi products. Web based application for our Wi-Fi portfolio, written using an internal web platform based on Angular for the front end and Java for the backend.
In this role, you will evolve the company's product line to work in a virtualized environment, as our customers implement their 5G core network 3GPP standards. Their products provide the ability for our customers to tap, aggregate, filter, sample, as well as perform many other functions on their network traffic for monitoring and analysis. Our MobileStack products track mobile users and sessions, sending the associated control and user plane data to specific network monitoring tools (i.e. probes) for analysis. In addition, they load balance across probes and provide sampling, filtering and VIP whitelisting functionalities. This allows our customers to manage their probe bandwidth by looking at a subset of the overall network traffic, in addition to being able to troubleshoot specific quality of service issues. As network traffic continues to increase each year, our customers need solutions to monitor their network traffic more efficiently and cost effectively.
Maintain and improve the customer’s network and provide technical support, fault investigation, troubleshooting. Be responsible for the Operation, Maintenance and Performance of the customer network. Keep the performance of system resources at optimum level by ensuring that network/application problems are detected and corrected according to agreed KPI and SLA. Perform proactive actions in order to prevent system failures and related impacts on customer services. Take full responsibility for configuration changes introduced in the systems and keep the resources configurations and status under control. Contribute in the creation and improvements of monitoring alarms and procedures/routines. Business hours schedule with rotation of 24x24 on-call shifts.
This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, support, management and execution of 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. ›Interfaces: primarily interacts with FO engineers and BO engineers, customer technical staff, Incident Managers, Technical Coordinators and Line Manager. › Work in an international environment, with customers and suppliers. › Work in Day or Night shift, but should in all cases be capable to do a regular Flexi shift (to cover illness, vacation, training etc).
